Sage Stallone
Sylvester Stallone’s 36 year-old son was found dead Friday at his home and his cause of death is now believed to be the overdose of pills. Sage Stallone was found at home alone and authorities found empty prescription pill bottles around the area of the body. It is unknown if his death was a suicide or accidental at this time, but no suicide note was found.
According to the New York Post, “Sage Stallone is believed to have died following an overdose of pills.” When family and friends hadn’t heard from Sage and they were unable to get ahold of him, police were asked to go to his home for a wellness check. This is when Sage was found dead.
Sage Stallone is considered an “aspiring actor and film maker,” who was getting ready to get married for the first time. Sage’s lawyer, George Braunstein, said he wasn’t depressed, sad or anything along those lines and he had a lot to look forward in life. Braunstein suggested that his death “must have been some sort of a tragic accident,” according to MSNBC.
Michele Bega, publicist for Sylvester Stallone, reports he is grief-stricken and devastated at the sudden death of his oldest child. Bega went on to say that his compassion is with Sasha, Sage’s mother, according to Fox News. There is no suspicion of foul play or criminal activity in Sage’s death.
Sage was the first of two sons that Sylvester and Sasha Czack had together, Sasha was Stallone’s first wife. Sage Moonblood Stallone was Stallone’s son’s full name. He was in two of Sylvester Stallone’s popular movies. In 1990 he had a role in “Rocky V” and a role in the 1996 movie “Daylight."
